Upaya Guru Dalam Menerapkan Metode Pembelajaran Stad (Student Team Achievement Division) Dalam Pembelajaran Seni Budaya Pada Materi “Lagu Tradisi Dan Lagu Modern” Di Kelas IX E SMP Negeri 2 Jamblang Kabupaten Cirebon Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023

Abstract

Music is sound that is arranged in such a way that it contains rhythm, song and harmony, especially the sound produced from instruments that produce sounds. Music is also a universal language that is able to speak in various languages, is able to express the hearts of its creators and reflects the culture of various parts of the world. The formulation of the problems in this PTK are 1) How to apply the STAD (Student Team Achievement Division) Learning Method in Learning Arts and Culture on the material "traditional songs and modern songs" in class IX E SMP Negeri 2 Jamblang, Cirebon Regency? 2) What are the activities of class IX students? E SMP Negeri 2 Jamblang, Cirebon Regency in participating in Cultural Arts lessons? The purpose of Classroom Action Research with the application of the STAD (Student Team Achievement Division) Learning Method in learning Arts and Culture is to improve the ability of class IX E students of SMP Negeri 2 Jamblang in understanding learning material about "traditional songs and modern songs" so that learning Arts and Culture becomes more fun and generate creativity, and improve student learning achievement in the subject of Cultural Arts. lassroom action research was conducted on Thursday, September 15, 2022 for Cycle I and September 22, 2022 for Cycle II. The subjects of this class action research were Class IX E students of SMP Negeri 2 Jamblang for the 2022–2023 academic year. The total number of students in Class IX E as a whole was 30 students, because it was assumed that the characteristics and abilities were the same. Based on the results of the research and discussion of the application of the STAD (Student Team Achievement Division) Learning Method in learning Arts and Culture on the material "Traditional songs and modern songs" in Class IX E SMP Negeri 2 Jamblang a conclusion can be obtained: 1) Student activity in participating in Art learning Culture, namely: a) The ability to understand and show a responsible, caring and polite attitude towards musical works of art and their creators. B) Students' ability to understand and show self-confidence, internal motivation, concern for the environment in creating art. c) Courage to ask from less to be good. d) The ability of students to identify the types of modern music that developed in Indonesia from less to sufficient. 2) The value of student learning outcomes in the Cultural Arts subject has increased, namely: at the beginning of the pre-test it reached an average of 54.5, in cycle I it rose to an average of 70, and in cycle II it increased to an average of 80.33. Based on the explanation above, it shows that the action hypothesis is proven, namely the application of the STAD (Student Team Achievement Division) Learning Method in learning Arts and Culture in Class IX E SMP Negeri 2 Jamblang Cirebon Regency can increase students' understanding of the material "traditional songs and modern songs" and the results learn.
